Designed and built an organisation-wide cyber assurance framework across all Home Office products and services, aligning CAF, policy and non-functional requirements to improve risk visibility, consistency and governance across cyber, service architecture and delivery teams.

2023 – 2025

Home Office – Head of Technical Delivery Management (Data Services & Analytics)

Led decommissioning of major Border Force systems as part of a high-risk transformation programme, directed multi-supplier delivery across complex platforms, delivered data pipelines to preserve critical data services, managed systems with a £10M+ annual cost base, and reduced long-term risk through controlled transition away from legacy platforms.

2019 – 2023

Home Office – Head of Service Operations & Service Architecture

Held dual leadership across service architecture and live operations, led approximately 20 critical services supporting 10,000+ users, acted as the 24/7 senior escalation point for major incidents, and delivered improvements in monitoring, alerting, service stability, resilience and operational performance.

2014 – 2019

Home Office – Head of Service Architecture

Led service architecture from concept through to live service, established structured service design aligned to the ITIL lifecycle, delivered service readiness including OAT, UAT and SART, managed Early Life Support, and designed and transitioned key systems into production.

Home Office – Service Architect (CCD & Border Force)

Led service design and transition for critical national infrastructure systems, built service architecture capability from scratch in non-ITIL environments, developed transition frameworks, managed supplier negotiations and transitioned multiple critical systems into live operation.

Head of Live Service / Head of Incident & Problem Management / Interim Head of Operations

Led end-to-end service management across the Home Office application estate, introduced SIAM-aligned coordination across multi-supplier environments, implemented Incident and Problem Management processes, introduced Critical Incident Management capability and led service operations during major organisational change.
